The external influence of runes on a person

In the context of the Northern tradition and modern runic practice, outside influence is an external energetic, mental or emotional impact on a person (someone else's negativity, psychological pressure, the evil eye, a spell or imposed attitudes).

Runes in this system act as a universal tool - they are used both for diagnosis and protection from outside interference, and (in unscrupulous practices) to exert such influence.

1. How to identify outside influence.

In practice, the loss of certain runes indicates that a person is being subjected to external influence:

• Hagalaz (ᚺ) – destructive influence from outside, sudden failure in business or emotional state.

• Thurisaz (ᚦ) – direct aggression, conflicts, attack or sharp psychological pressure.

• Nautiz (ᚾ) – coercion, manipulation, attempt to subordinate to someone else’s will.

• Laguz (ᛚ) in an inverted position - secret influence, darkness, opacity, deception.

• Eyvaz (ᛇ) – energy restoration is in question, connection with alien programs or entities.

2. Protection from outside influences (Protective runes)

To repel negativity and close the bifield (biofield), individual runes and runic formulas (staves) are used:

• Algiz (ᛉ) is the main protective rune. It functions as an "antenna" or shield, warning of danger and appealing to the Higher Powers for help.

• Thurisaz (ᚦ) - active protection ("thorn"). Not only blocks, but also cuts off other people's encroachments.

• Isa (ᛁ) - freezes any process. Excellent for "stopping" negative influences or other people's emotions.

• Teiwaz (ᛏ) – military protection. Helps to defend personal boundaries and repel attacks.

• Soulu (ᛋ) – burns out negativity with its light, solar energy.

Classic protection formulas:

• Algiz - Algiz - Algiz - basic passive shield (circular protection).

• Thurisaz - Teyvaz - Thurisaz - active rebuff, reflection of aggression back to the source.

• Kenaz - Isa - Hagalaz - Isa - Kenaz - “Mirror shield” that returns incoming negativity to the sender.

3. Cleansing from existing influences (Cleansing)

If the impact has already occurred, runes are used to break destructive connections:

• Hagalaz + Soulu - destroy and burn out other people’s attachments and programs.

• Eyvaz + Turisaz - cut off the suckers and the channel through which energy leaves.

4. The influence of runes on humans (Safety precautions)

Runic energy is neutral, but requires strict adherence to the rules:

1. Energy expenditure: Any stave consumes a person's own resources or attracts external energy. If you apply a heavy protection spell without proper diagnostics, you may experience a loss of energy and apathy.

2. Stipulation and intention: Runes fulfill their purpose literally. The goal (stipulation) must be formulated to exclude any harm to one's physical and mental health.

3. Psychological aspect: Internal blocks, anxiety, or self-hypnosis are often mistaken for "outside influence." Before using magic, it's important to objectively assess the situation.
