The frequency of changing runic staves and formulas depends not on strict timeframes, but on the task, the type of work, and your energetic state.

Main guidelines and rules for changing runic formulas:

1.    By type and purpose of the stave

• Situational (short-term): Removed and deactivated immediately after the task is completed (from a few hours to a couple of weeks). For example, a stave for a successful deal, passing an exam, or a quick sale of an item.

• Long-term (programmatic): Work from several months to a year. These are staves for large-scale resource attraction, relationship harmonization, cleansing, or protection.

• Permanent (amulet): Worn for years (e.g., for protection or constant strong health), but require regular replenishment (recharging) every 1–3 months.

2.    Main signs that it's time to change the stave

• The goal is achieved. The formula has completed its task. There is no point in leaving it further – it starts to work "in vain" or can have the opposite effect.

• Diagnostics show that the stave has worked out. The runes have exhausted their charge and have stopped.

• Side effects have appeared. If you feel a severe loss of strength, headaches, or the situation has worsened – the stave must be deactivated with gratitude, and only then should a new one be placed.

• The stave has been physically destroyed. Worn off the body, the carrier (paper/wood) is torn. This is a sign that the formula has finished its work or has taken on a negative impact.

3.    Energy limitations (How many staves can be placed)

• Do not change staves too often for experimental purposes. Beginners are not recommended to apply new formulas every day or to maintain more than 2–3 active staves for different areas simultaneously.

• Give yourself a rest. Between deactivating the old stave and applying a new one (especially after heavy cleansing), it is recommended to take a break of 1–3 days to restore your own energy.

• Do not place conflicting formulas. If you are replacing one stave with another in the same area (e.g., replacing one love formula with another), be sure to deactivate the previous one before applying the new one.
